Jonny Lefko is one of Catalyst’s Founding Partners and serves as its Managing Broker. Entering commercial real estate directly after graduating college, Jonny immediately forged an impressive and highly successful career in the multifamily and retail sectors. Jonny has owned over 1,500 apartment units located throughout the Kansas City MSA.

Jonny expertly sources off-market opportunities, and has amassed the bulk of his apartment portfolio in that manner, along with portfolio sales. Jonny remains an active buyer, and continues to scout 2-300 unit apartment complexes located in the KC MSA.

In addition to his Multifamily sector transactions, Jonny serves as a premier retail investment sales broker. He has sold properties worth more than $250,000,000, spanning the range of Single Tenant Net Leases, multi-tenant strip centers and grocery anchored shopping centers. Jonny works tirelessly to help solve complex problems for his clients.

Jonny grew up in the Kansas City suburb of Prairie Village, Kansas and attended Shawnee Mission East High School before obtaining his bachelor’s degree in finance at Michigan State University. After college, Jonny moved to Chicago and joined a boutique retail real estate firm focusing on retail investment sales. Jonny eventually returned to Kansas City and was a founding partner at Elevate Property Advisors.

In his free time, Jonny enjoys traveling, playing sports, attending Chiefs and Royals games, spending time with friends and family and hanging out at home with his dog Milo and wife Natalie.
